About the Role
WeScalable BPO Inc. is hiring multiple US Audit Managers and Audit Supervisors for one of our US CPA firm clients. This role is ideal for experienced external auditors with strong US audit exposure who are looking for a long-term servicing US-based clients.
You will play a critical role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with US standards, and mentoring junior audit professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute external audit engagements for US clients
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and the accuracy of financial statements
- Identify audit risks, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders
- Perform audits in compliance with US GAAP and applicable auditing standards
- Conduct audits related to Uniform Guidance / Circular A-133 (where applicable)
- Review audit workpapers and ensure high-quality audit deliverables
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior audit team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth audit execution
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and audit best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvements in audit methodologies and tools
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4 to 8+ years of post-qualification experience in external auditing within US-focused engagements
- Strong experience auditing US-based clients, with a solid understanding of US GAAP (IFRS exposure is a plus)
- Proven experience supporting or leading end-to-end audit engagements in accordance with US auditing standards
- Exposure to a range of industry engagements (e.g., nonprofit organizations, private companies, professional services firms, construction, manufacturing, retail, and employee benefit plans, etc.) is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to assess risk and identify key audit issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with international clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in audit tools and data analytics software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA, or similar platforms)
- Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team environment while managing multiple engagements
